Downtown Dillon: Your Voice, Your Vision
Downtown Dillon Master Plan
Shaping the Future of Our Historic Downtown
Downtown Dillon is the heart of our community—rich in history, full of character, and vital to our local economy. As Dillon continues to grow and evolve, it's time to revisit and refresh the Downtown Master Plan to reflect our shared vision for the future.
Since its adoption in 2016, the Downtown Master Plan has guided important improvements across our city center. With many of the original action items now complete, this update is a key opportunity to assess what’s working, identify new priorities, and ensure downtown remains a vibrant, welcoming, and economically resilient place for all.
Why This Matters Now
This project builds on the success of the 2016 plan while integrating current community needs, updated conditions, and alignment with Dillon’s ongoing Growth Policy update. The refreshed plan will:
Reinforce downtown’s role as a community hub
Support local businesses and economic vitality
Enhance infrastructure, walkability, and public spaces
Celebrate and preserve Dillon’s unique historic character
Provide a practical roadmap for implementation
As the original authors of the 2016 plan, Sanbell brings a deep understanding of Dillon’s goals—paired with a fresh approach and renewed commitment to community-driven solutions.
Your Voice, Your Downtown
Community input is at the heart of this process. Over the coming months, we’ll be gathering ideas, feedback, and insights from residents, business owners, and stakeholders to shape a plan that reflects what matters most to Dillon.
Together, we can create a downtown that honors our past and looks boldly toward the future.
